Director of Contagious Enthusiasm

As descriptive titles go, “Director of Contagious Enthusiasm” couldn’t more accurately describe Susanne Arbanas. The exuberant blonde recently joined Grand Incentives to head up Grand Excursions, a new and exclusive division of concierge services.

A travel industry and customer service expert, Susanne is creating and developing the division, which will include providing personalized custom itineraries for members of Coast to Coast Grand Getaways travel club.

In its initial phase, the service will be available to members traveling to Orlando, Florida, and will eventually be rolled out to other popular destinations.

“I’m very passionate about this program – it adds a lot of value to the club membership,” Susanne said. “I think it’s very innovative and forward-thinking of management to offer this service to our guests. I’m excited to build it and see it grow.”

Susanne Arbanas is an internationally experienced customer service specialist, who over the past 20 years has held senior customer service management positions for major airlines and hotels both in Australia and the United States, including Sofitel Hotels, multi-award winning Continental Airlines, Qantas and Virgin Blue, along side Richard Branson.

While in Australia, Susanne had the opportunity to broaden her career at a five-star hotel where she was the Manager of the Guest Relations Division. This role brought with it the experience of working with all departments to coordinate special events, from intimate affairs in the library to major events in the city’s grandest ballroom. This also was a chance to oversee the care of VIP guests from all walks of life from royalty and sports professionals to Heads of State, including former presidents of the United States

Upon returning to the United States, Susanne drew on her broad range of practical frontline and strategic service knowledge to create Anna Maria Island Concierge Services.
