Room Rates on the Rise
Give your customers a getaway
As the economy begins to bounce back, lodging industry experts predict an increase in room rates this year over last. PKF Hospitality Research (PKF-HR) forecasts that U.S. hotels should achieve close to an 8 percent increase in room revenue in 2011. R. Mark Woodworth, president of PKF-HR, cited the improved business environment as one reason that hotels and resorts will be able charge higher rates for rooms.
Good news for hoteliers but not so good for guests! Fortunately the Your Getaway package remains available at the same bargain price.
